Auricular (Ear) Acupuncture

Auricular acupuncture is a subset of body acupuncture and is also very effective.  The entire body is represented on the ears and also on the hands and the feet as in reflexology.  Very specific parts of the body can be treated by needling only the ear or a seed may be taped to the point so that the patient can repeatedly massage the point throughout the rest of the day and in the days following treatment.  This seed is just a bit bigger than a poppy seed and is barely noticeable.  After repeated showering it will fall off and can be replaced again at the next treatment.  The placement of this 'ear seed' allows the patient to 'take the treatment home,' and can be very helpful for treating addictions or anxiety.
