Why soaking your feet in hot water is good for your overall health

Soaking your feet in hot water helps to improve blood circulation not only in the feet and legs, but throughout the entire body.  In addition to encouraging blood flow back to the heart, it can also relieve pain in the legs, relax the mind and make it easier to fall asleep at night.   It also regulates the flow of Yang by both simultaneously raising and descending the Yang.   There is a Chinese proverb that says: "Keep the feet warm and the head cool."
