All About NeedlesThe needles used for acupuncture are very thin and so insertion is nearly painless. The gauge of the needle is much thinner than the needle used in Western blood tests. For your safety, each needle comes in a pre-packaged, sterile bubble pack and is used only once and is then discarded.
