Can TCM treat my condition?

Traditional Chinese Medicine can treat nearly all conditions, not because it is miraculous medicine but because it is holistic in its approach.  Though you may have a specific Western medical diagnosis, when you see a TCM practitioner they will give you a complete re-diagnosis according to TCM principles.  For this reason, it is not actually necessary to have a Western diagnosis first.  This should be a great comfort for those patients that could not get a diagnosis from Western medicine.

TCM takes into account all symptoms, not just the ones that fit neatly into a disease pattern.  For example, ten different patients, each of whom have a Western diagnosis of fibromyalgia, may walk into a TCM clinic.   Though all ten patients may have many symptoms in common, each will also have some symptoms unique to them that likely also have a negative impact on their quality of life.  These symptoms that don’t match the criteria for fibromyalgia still need to be treated in order for each patient to feel well again.  TCM recognizes this and will form a diagnosis based on all symptoms so that the root of the condition can be treated.

Listed below are common Western diseases that are treatable with TCM, but if your condition is not listed it does not mean that it cannot be treated with TCM.
