For the last few years my wife and I have visited many doctors in both Canada and Japan. The doctors in Canada didn't really have a clue what was wrong and they only suggested waiting and taking some medicine, which proved ineffective. The doctors in Japan did more and found 2 problems, factor 12 deficiencies and protein S deficiency. Their recommended treatment of Heparin had severe and frightful side effects. We also went to a highly recommended TCM doctor that has been practicing in Calgary for many years and the results were unimpressive and his lack of communication skills troublesome. Finally our friends recommended we see Dr. Han. After the first visit we were impressed with his candor and his communication skills. He is always willing to listen and provide advice. The best part however is seeing the results. My wife started to respond to treatment much sooner than either of us had anticipated. The regiment of traditional Chinese herbs and acupuncture has made huge differences where others have failed. Two major improvements were in regards to her period. Usually she experienced an unreal amount of pain and could barely stand, now there is no pain at all. Also the amount of blood and clots produced has gone from unbelievable to normal. Her general condition has improved and she no longer has freezing cold feet. The ultimate test of the treatment is still pending and I'll provide an update in the future.
